Can I customize my loved one’s memorial?
Yes, a completely personalized Memorial is included in your package. We will design your loved one’s Memorial however you wish and incorporate any important themes or details relating to his or her life. We can also have pictures replicated in 3D Bronze.
Does my memorial package include cremation?
While Guardian Memorial Reefs does not provide cremation services, we are happy to make to make an introduction for cremation through our community partners.
How much will my underwater memorial service cost?
At only $8,990 our underwater memorial services are only a fraction of the cost of traditional burials and other memorial services. Please contact us for more details.
What can I include in my loved one’s memorial?
Your loved one’s ashes will be permanently encapsulated in a sealed concrete vault. You can include other items including jewelry, letters, pictures, and other small mementos to stay with your loved one forever. You can also include the ashes of another loved one or pet for no additional charge.

What materials do you use to create your memorial?
We use premium, environmentally friendly materials to make our custom memorial. Materials include:
Bronze: Strong enough to stand the test of time at sea, so you can visit your loved one’s underwater memorials for lifetimes to come.
Concrete: Commonly used for the construction of bridges and other marine structures, concrete has a porous structure that quickly and safely attracts underwater life.
How do I visit my loved one’s memorial for years to come?
We provide a Captain’s Certification which includes the precise latitude and longitude coordinates, and the depth, of the memorial. You can charter a captain to take you to the site.
How are underwater memorials an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional burials?
Guardian Memorial Reefs memorials are free of harmful chemicals (like formaldehyde), plastics and other harmful materials. They are made primarily of concrete which attracts marine life.
